A poem - The Wall


The Wall

A wall full of memories
Above me I do see
Three fancy frames hold
All my college degrees

Two shelves beside it
Stuffed with papers and books
Not very well organized
From the way it looks

Divinci's "Last Supper"
On one end of the wall
A reminder how Christ
Gave his life for us all

One large calendar
Hung next to the drape
On the room's only window
As I watch time escape

And one small poster
Made with love and care
It reads "Bob's Office"
That my son did prepare

I look at his picture
It sits on a shelf
The walls of my office
A mural of myself
